Dr. Cathy Sherry

Dr. Sherry received her BA in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and her DDS from OU Health Science Center. Interceptive Orthodontics has always been a passion of Dr. Sherry, which involves treating patients at a younger age in order to prevent future orthodontic problems.
Dr. Sherry was awarded the Best Invisalign Case in the US and Canada in 2011. Several of her case studies are published, including a journal article covering a case of redirecting facial growth in an adult patient experiencing airway issues in the International Association for Orthodontics Journal.
Dr. Sherry is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association and is a Senior Instructor for the International Association for Orthodontics. She organized the Oklahoma Health Professionals Airway Study Club in 2019 to develop networking channels in the medical field in an effort to improve communication between specialties. She also attends Functional Medicine Study Club meetings.
She works part-time with the Oklahoma Dental Foundation on the Mobile Smiles Unit delivering dental care to underserved areas of Oklahoma where she also serves as a Volunteer Instructor for 4th-year Dental Students. She lectures for Myofunctional Research Company and other dental organizations both locally and internationally. Dr. Sherry can also be found speaking to interested groups of parents, educators, and childcare centers.
Dr. Sherry recently taught a CE course at OU Health Sciences Center entitled “Myofunctional Therapy - A matter of life and breath”. Dr. Sherry loves spending time with her husband Dr. Keith Coulson and their 6 grandchildren. She enjoys pilates and photography. She is active in her dream group, loves the outdoors, and is definitely a cat person.
